Gardner throws no-hitter against Crocker

     The Rangers picked up their second win in a row as they beat Crocker 10-0 at Hooper Field Thursday, Sept. 3.
     Levi Gardner held the Lions at bay as he tossed a perfect game to pick up his first win of the season. Gardner struck out ten batters on the night and did not allow a base runner.
     The Rangers scored in every inning. Seth Luttrell (junior) got things rolling in the first inning with a double and scored on Cody Moore\\\\\\\'s (senior) RBI single. Garth Minnick (senior) then singled to place runners at second and third. Moore would then score on an error pickoff of third to give the Rangers a 2-0 lead after one inning.
     Gardner ended the game with a solo homerun in the fifth, his third of the season.
     Cody Moore led the Rangers offensively with three hits, one double, three runs scored and two RBIs. Luttrell had two hits, both doubles and two runs scored. Gardner added two hits, one double and one homerun, two runs scored and a RBI. Minnick added two hits, one double a run scored, and a RBI. Matt Sherrell (sophmore) had a hit and two RBIs. Seth Prather (junior) rounded out the attck with a hit. Justin Robertson (sophmore) scored a run.
